Automation is our Lifeblood
There was a time we used to rue the term robot when used to describe a script running somewhere in our network. To us, at that time, a robot was defined by the functions of its mechanical parts.
Then one of our daughters said to us, during a conversation about it: “but dad, Google uses robots to read our emails, not humans…”. It made us realize that robot and automation are truly interchangeable, and that it’s hard to distinguish the physical form of the robot from the scripts that actuate it.
From there, we haven’t looked back. We’ve helped automate everything from single family homes to Fortune 50 companies. We’ve had the opportunity to work with amazing customers across almost every vertical. We’ve had the chance to step in potholes and cow patties, and get slowed down by speed bumps and unforeseen hurdles, and we’ve had the chance to celebrate successes when projects wind down to a successful conclusion.
And we’ve watched the industry grow and mature around us. What we now know as Microsoft Teams was originally released in 2000…and now in 2023 it’s finally overtaking the industry. People understand what Unified Communications is as a concept. The AI and Machine Learning sector of technology has already started a similar pathway, only faster.
